Dear Mr Scowen, Such fond, happy memories of time spent at The Friday Club, from its formation around 1971/72. Lots of great visits, and activities. MAYC weekends away in London, Plymouth, Torquay, fantastic times. Brilliant outward bound holidays in Balmaha, Scotland. Volleyball, and the weekly Coke & crisps, a treat for us in the early seventies. It sounds unbelievable now. Carnival floats, and singing Christmas carols on a trailer, pulled by Paul in his tractor, around Chard. Great times, Mr Scowen, and you were there for all of it.
